THE HISTORY CHANNEL

To celebrate the 90th anniversary of the construction of the Golden Gate Bridge, I did a little project for The History Channel to tell one of my favorite stories about the GGB, and a man named Hap Jones. Check out this short I made with film maker Jeremy Mcnamara, and the only NFT I will probably ever create illustrating this wonderful piece of San Francisco History. “Forever Ever After” is my 7th book, and is easily my favorite body of work so far in my career. This book contains all of the artwork I have created since my brain surgery in 2015. The introduction was written by my main man Aesop Rock and the forward by San Francisco Mayor London Breed

Mayor London Breed: “People like Jeremy Fish are why San Francisco is such a great city. When you talk about creativity and advocacy, he embodies the imagination and originality that spark it. He draws artists together. He draws communities together. His art instills pride and joy in everyone who experiences it. This is why it is so important he is moving forward with this book Forever Ever After.  In it, he shares the work of an artist in transition, living through personal challenges and the kinds of civic and global challenges that come around once in a generation.  And through it all, in true Jeremy Fish fashion, he’s created works of art now iconic to San Francisco, works made specifically to strengthen this City and reinforce the resiliency that allows creative hearts and minds to thrive. I know his art will inspire future generations of artists and continue to represent the best of San Francisco.”

DRAWING CONCLUSIONS

My next solo exhibition “Drawing Conclusions” opens on July 30th at the Harman Projects Gallery in New York City. For this show I created 50 new black and white ink drawings. This is my favorite medium, and this will be my first show made up entirely of these stark high contrast drawings. I began the work in December 2021, and the themes range from the subjects of love, betrayal, Zodiac signs, hands and feet, hearts and skulls, dead rappers, and my beloved cat Mrs Brown. The show will be on view until August 20th. 210 Rivington Street New York, NY. Harmanprojects.com
