I have started a new body of work for an upcoming solo show at The Jonathan Levine Gallery in June 2017. I was inspired by our relationships as humans, with our motor vehicles. The motor vehicle has more of a soul, or a spirit than most objects because we risk our lives riding in them. This body of work is in cooperation with the Petersen Auto Museum in Los Angeles, and The Piaggio Museum in Italy. I am hoping to visit Detroit soon, to see the Ford and Chrysler Museums. Below are the 20 sketches I have completed this month. More info soon!
Thank you for your patience, sorry for the delay!
The webstore for the 8″ Bronze Bunny statues is now open and ready for purchase:
Would you like a small bronze bunny? Myself and sculptor Brin Berliner are going to produce a small edition of 8″ mini bronze bunny statues to celebrate the upcoming public install of the 11 foot tall bunny statue here in SF. If you would like more info, or to be added to the list to reserve an 8″ tall mini bronze bunny please contact: firstname.lastname@example.org
My newest body of work is for a show at Thinkspace gallery in Los Angeles with the wonderful Jim Houser. The body of paintings I’m working on is called “Los Angelurkers”. I am documenting some of the mythical beasts that hide in Southern California. Below are a few sketches for some of this new work. Hope to see you at Thinkspace in June!
